In my school, wearing bright, I think, yes, sequins. I do not know if they still for the same purposes, but it was the same as the cheerleaders, because I was one.
We have only the flags, but the "Windmills and Diamonds," which they use. The uniforms are not really "sparkley", but which are blue with silver. I feel bad for them on game nights because their uniforms are almost sleevless, and I'm a big jacket and sweat pants!
